Eligibility for Refunds:

Refunds are typically issued for the following reasons:
  • The event was cancelled by the creator
  • The event is not aligned with our community guidelines policy
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 12-hours of the event starting time
  • Creator changed the date or time of the event and you can no longer make it

Non-Eligibility for Refunds:

We do not provide refunds for the following:

  • We don’t provide refunds on the tips you made to a creator
  • Change of mind
  • Inability to use the product or service due to lack of understanding or skill
  • Delays or technical issues that are beyond our control such as internet connection issues on the creators side or viewers side
  • If you missed the Lounge, could not attend or you were late

  • If you think the creator/host was untalented or you did not enjoy the stream. We cannot refund you if the stream went ahead but you did not enjoy it

  • If you forget to watch an On-demand video within the 30 day period

How to Request a Refund:


If the event was cancelled by the creator, you refund will be processed automatically.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund that is not a cancelled event, please contact our customer support team at help@lounges.tv or through the "Support" section of our platform.

Provide your order details, including the order number and a clear explanation of the reason for your refund request.

Our team will review your request and respond to you within 5 business day.

Refund Process:

Once your refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund process.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your BANK.

Misuse of Refunds:

  • Misuse of Refunds: Repeatedly requesting refunds without valid reasons, attempting to exploit the refund policy, or engaging in behaviour that suggests an intent to defraud the system. Misuse of refunds includes attempts to dispute transactions with banks.
  • Valid Refund Requests: Requests made in accordance with our refund policy, including but not limited to event cancellations, significant changes in event details, or verified technical issues.
  • Content Awareness: Viewers are expected to be aware of the content they purchase. As per our Terms and Conditions, we do not refund tickets if you believe that the creator is not talented, or you are unhappy with the content. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the content disclaimer and accept the platform's terms and conditions.

Procedure:

Monitoring and Identification:
  • Our team will monitor refund requests for patterns indicating misuse.
  • Users with a high frequency of refund requests will be flagged for review.
  • Users who have previously expressed dissatisfaction with our product or services will also be monitored closely.
Investigation:
    • Each flagged case will be thoroughly investigated by our customer service team.
    • Users will be contacted with additional information or clarification regarding their refund requests.
Warning:
      • If misuse is identified, the user will receive a warning outlining the specific behaviour that is deemed abusive.
      • The warning will include a reminder of our refund policy and the potential consequences of continued misuse.

Restriction:
      • If the user continues to misuse the refund system, they will be restricted from making future purchases.
      • The restriction will be communicated to the user via email, detailing the reasons for the action and any potential steps they can take to appeal the decision.

Dispute Resolution:


If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may contact our customer support team for further assistance.
