What this means for content creators
Do not post content on Lounges if it aims to do any of the following:
Sell firearms or certain firearms accessories through direct sales, including private sales by individuals or linking to websites that sell these items. These prohibited accessories may include:
- Accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire.
- Accessories that convert a firearm to automatic fire, such as bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, or conversion kits.
- High-capacity magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds.
Provide instructions on manufacturing any of the following:
- Firearms.
- Ammunition.
- High-capacity magazines.
- Homemade silencers/suppressors.
- Accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire.
- Accessories that convert a firearm to automatic fire, such as bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, or conversion kits.
- Provide instructions on converting a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities.
- Provide instructions on how to install the mentioned accessories or modifications.
- Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and other related content may also be prohibited.
Examples of content that is not allowed on Lounges include:
- Including links in the title or description of your video to sites that sell firearms or the mentioned accessories. However, linking to sites that discuss or review these items is permitted as long as those sites do not directly sell the items.
- Displaying a firearm with the intention to sell it via private sale, including providing the seller's contact information.
- Showing users step-by-step instructions on how to complete fabrication of a firearm by finishing a lower receiver.
- Showing users how to make a silencer using parts like a flashlight, oil can, or solvent catcher.
- Showing users how to install a bump stock or a comparable accessory designed for simulated automatic fire.
- Live streams featuring someone holding or handling a firearm, irrespective of whether they are firing it. (Note: Firearms in video games are an exception.)
- Live streams featuring someone transporting firearms from place to place, such as carrying them or traveling with them by vehicle. (Note: Firearms in video games are an exception.)
