1. Purpose
This policy outlines the fraud prevention and moderation procedures applied to creator withdrawal requests to ensure platform integrity, regulatory compliance, and user protection.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all creators requesting withdrawals from the platform, regardless of their location, content type, or earnings history.
3. Withdrawal Pipeline Process

All withdrawal requests enter the central Payment Pipeline.

Withdrawals are subject to risk-based checks depending on user history (trusted, verified or first withdrawal) and KYC status.
3.1 First-Time Withdrawal Hold

First-time payments are subject to a 5-day hold.

During this hold period:

Viewer disputes via Stripe are monitored.

Moderation and fraud checks are performed.

4. Moderation & Compliance Review
The Moderation Team is responsible for:

Reviewing associated content for:

Scam or deceptive practices

Copyright infringement or content piracy

Violation of platform policies

4.2 Sanctions & Fraud Screening

Verifying the bank account holder’s name against: FCDO - UK Sanctions List Search - GOV.UK

Flagging any suspicious or fraudulent activities
5. Response to Fraud or Violations
If fraud, scams, or policy violations are identified:

The user's account is immediately suspended.

Pending payments are blocked.

Refunds are issued to viewers' original payment methods.

The incident is escalated to the Head of Operations

Affected users are notified via email.
5.1 Reporting

Activities are recorded on user profile in HubSpot
6. KYC & Audit Requirements
All actions taken are logged and audited:

KYC status (Passed/Not Passed)

Moderation result

Reviewer identity (if manual)

6.1 Non-KYC Users

Withdrawals will not be processed until KYC is passed.
7. Trusted Creators & Expedited Payments
Creators who:

Have passed full KYC

Have no fraud or moderation flags for 12 months

Are marked as Trusted and will be eligible for:

Bypassed 5-day hold

Faster payment processing
If a trusted creator changes their bank account or personal details, a new review and sanction check will be triggered.
8. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed and updated at least annually or as regulatory requirements change.
