Is there a time limit on livestreams? What is the maximum amount of time I can run a live event on Lounges?
On the platform, you can livestream up to 24 hours continuously from the same event.
You should note that every live will still be active for up to 30 minutes after you end it both via the platform itself and OBS to make sure if you accidentally disconnect you have a chance to save your stream.
How should I price a multi-part event?
In the case of multiple-part events, we advice against charging for only 1 event and having the others free. This could lead to people only joining the free streams.
Instead, why not break down the price as well!
For example, you want to have an all-day event of 15 hours and would like to charge £30. We recommend creating 3 events of 5 hours and charging £10 for each. Just make sure you let your audience know in your promotion that to attend the whole show, they need to purchase a ticket for each part.
