iOS Devices with USB-C
iOS 26 and later
✅ Fully supported
IRIG Streamer works reliably on iOS devices with a USB-C connector. Audio input is detected correctly when using:
-
Safari
-
Supported iOS apps
This is the recommended setup for creators using IRIG Streamer on iOS.
iOS Devices with Lightning Connector
iOS 18
❌ Not supported
IRIG Streamer is not compatible with iOS devices that use a Lightning connector. In testing:
-
Audio input is not detected in Safari
-
Audio input is not detected in apps
-
No workaround is currently available
If your iOS device uses Lightning, IRIG Streamer cannot be used at this time.
Android Devices
⚠️ Limited and inconsistent support
Support on Android can vary depending on the device model, Android version, and the app or browser being used. Our testing shows:
-
Chrome (web streaming): Intermittent behaviour
-
Android apps: Intermittent behaviour
Because performance is inconsistent, we can’t guarantee reliable operation on all Android devices.
