MY LOUNGES.TV EMBED IS CUT OFF OR NOT DISPLAYING CORRECTLY ON MOBILE

If your Lounges.tv event or video looks correct on desktop but is cut off, too wide or not displaying correctly on mobile, this is usually related to the size of the embed or its container on your website.

Lounges.tv controls the content displayed inside the embed. However, the website where you add the embed controls the space available to it, including its width, height and position.

You may therefore need to adjust the embed settings within your website builder to make sure it displays correctly across different screen sizes.

First, check these settings

Before making platform-specific changes:

  • Check that the embed isn't using a fixed width that is wider than a mobile screen.
  • Make sure the HTML/embed container has enough width and height to display the content.
  • Check that the section containing the embed isn't restricted to a fixed desktop width.
  • Preview your page on both desktop and mobile.
  • Save and publish your changes before checking the live page.

If your embed code contains fixed dimensions such as:

width="560" height="315"

your website platform may allow you to replace the fixed width and height with:

width="100%" height="100%"

This allows the embedded content to fill the space provided by its container.

Important: Setting the iframe to 100% does not necessarily resize the website container itself. Depending on your website platform, you may also need to adjust the size of the HTML/embed element.

Wix

Wix displays embedded HTML inside an iframe. If the content is larger than the iframe, Wix may cut off the content or display scroll bars.

Check your embed code

If the iframe uses fixed pixel dimensions, try changing the width and height to:

width="100%" height="100%"

This allows the Lounges.tv content to fill the space Wix provides for the embed.

Check the mobile version of your Wix website

  1. Open your website in the Wix Editor.
  2. Switch to Mobile View.
  3. Select the Lounges.tv embed.
  4. Check its size and position.
  5. Resize the embed so that it fits within the mobile page and has enough height to display the content.
  6. Preview the page.
  7. Publish your changes.

Still not displaying correctly?

Some iframe elements designed for desktop may not fit correctly on smaller mobile screens.

If resizing doesn't resolve the problem, Wix allows you to hide the desktop embed from your mobile site and add a separate mobile-friendly embed using Embed Code → Embed HTML in the mobile editor.

This mobile element can then be sized specifically for smaller screens without changing your desktop layout.

WordPress

WordPress websites generally use responsive layouts, but the way an iframe behaves can depend on your theme, blocks and how the embed was added.

If you're using an Embed block, check the block settings for Resize for smaller devices and make sure this is enabled where available.

If you've added the Lounges.tv code through a Custom HTML block, check that:

  • The iframe isn't using a fixed width larger than the available page width.
  • The block or its parent container isn't restricted to an unsuitable fixed width.
  • Your theme or page builder isn't overriding the iframe dimensions.

Where appropriate, you can also place a Custom HTML block inside a Group or other container and adjust the width of that container.

Preview the page at mobile size before publishing your changes.

Shopify

If your Lounges.tv embed looks correct on desktop but is cut off on mobile on a Shopify website, check the section, block or theme area where you've added the embed.

Make sure:

  • The embed isn't using a fixed width larger than the available screen.
  • The section or container isn't restricted to a fixed desktop width.
  • The iframe has enough height to display the content.
  • Your Shopify theme isn't applying additional sizing to the embed.

Where your theme supports it, use responsive or full-width settings for the section containing the embed.

Because Shopify themes can handle custom HTML and iframe content differently, the exact settings may vary depending on the theme you're using.

Squarespace

If you're using Squarespace, check the Code Block or section containing your Lounges.tv embed.

Make sure:

  • The embed fits within the width of the section.
  • The iframe isn't using a fixed width larger than the mobile screen.
  • The block has enough height to display the content.
  • The surrounding section or layout isn't restricting the available space.

Preview your website at different screen sizes after making changes.

Squarespace templates and layouts can handle embedded content differently, so you may need to adjust the size or position of the block within your page.

Why does it look correct on desktop but not on mobile?

Desktop screens provide much more horizontal space than phones.

If a website has allocated a fixed width to an iframe or its container, the embed may fit perfectly on desktop but be wider than the available space on mobile.

This can result in:

  • Part of the Lounges.tv embed being cut off
  • The embed extending beyond the page
  • Scroll bars appearing
  • Buttons or other information not being visible
  • The embed appearing too small or incorrectly positioned

Adjusting the iframe and its website container for smaller screens will normally resolve sizing-related issues.

Is there a problem with my Lounges.tv embed?

Not necessarily.

If the Lounges.tv content loads correctly but part of the embed is cut off or positioned incorrectly on certain screen sizes, the issue is likely related to how the iframe or its container has been configured on the website hosting it.

Lounges.tv controls what appears inside the embed, while your website platform controls the size, position and space available to the embed.
