Violent Extremist or Criminal Organisations

Lounges strictly prohibits content that praises, promotes, or assists violent extremist or criminal organisations. These organisations are not allowed to use Lounges for any purpose, including recruitment.

If you come across content that violates this policy, please report it. You can find instructions on how to report violations of our Community Guidelines on our website. If you encounter multiple offending videos or comments from the same channel, you can report the entire channel.

If you believe anyone is in immediate danger, we urge you to contact your local law enforcement agency to report the situation immediately.

What this means for content creators:

Do not post content on Lounges that falls under any of the following descriptions:

Content produced by violent extremist, criminal, or terrorist organisations.
Content that praises or memorialises prominent terrorist, extremist, or criminal figures with the intent to encourage others to commit violent acts.
Content that praises or justifies violent acts committed by violent extremist, criminal, or terrorist organisations.

Content aimed at recruiting new members for violent extremist, criminal, or terrorist organisations.
Content depicting hostages or posted with the intention of soliciting, threatening, or intimidating on behalf of a criminal, extremist, or terrorist organisation.
Content featuring the insignia, logos, or symbols of violent extremist, criminal, or terrorist organisations with the purpose of praising or promoting them.
Content that glorifies or promotes violent tragedies, such as school shootings.

Lounges relies on various factors, including government and international organisation designations, to determine what constitutes criminal or terrorist organisations. For instance, we terminate any channel when we have reasonable belief that the account holder is a member of a designated terrorist organisation, such as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation (U.S.), or an organisation identified by the United Nations.

If you plan to post content related to terrorism or crime for educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic purposes, ensure that you provide enough context in the video or audio so that viewers understand the intent. Graphic or controversial footage with sufficient context may be subject to age-restrictions or a warning screen.

This policy applies to videos, video descriptions, comments, live streams, and all other Lounges features. Please be aware that this is not an exhaustive list, and these policies also apply to external links in your content, including clickable URLs and verbal directions to other sites.

Examples of content that is not allowed on Lounges include:

Raw and unmodified reuploads of content created by terrorist, criminal, or extremist organisations.
Songs or memorials that celebrate terrorist leaders or their crimes.

Songs or memorials that celebrate terrorist or criminal organisations.
Content directing users to sites that espouse terrorist ideology, disseminate prohibited content, or are used for recruitment.
Footage filmed by the perpetrator during a deadly or major violent event, featuring visible weapons, violence, or injured victims.
Video game content that has been developed or modified ("modded") to glorify a violent event, its perpetrators, or support violent criminal or terrorist organisations.
Content glorifying violence against civilians.

Fundraising for violent criminal, extremist, or terrorist organisations.
