Violent or Graphic Content

Lounges strictly prohibits violent or gory content aimed at shocking or disgusting viewers, as well as content that encourages violence towards others.

If you suspect someone is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement right away.

If you come across content that violates this policy, please report it. You can find instructions on how to report violations of our Community Guidelines on our website. If you encounter multiple offending videos or comments from the same account, you can report the entire channel.

The following types of content are not allowed:

• Incitement to commit violent acts against individuals or a specific group.

• Fights involving minors.
• Footage, audio, or imagery depicting road accidents, natural disasters, war aftermath, terrorist attack aftermath, street fights, physical attacks, immolation, torture, corpses, protests or riots, robberies, medical procedures, or other such scenarios meant to shock or disgust viewers.
• Footage or imagery showing bodily fluids, such as blood or vomit, with the intent to shock or disgust viewers.
• Footage of corpses with severe injuries, such as severed limbs.

• Content where humans coerce animals to fight.
• Content where a human maliciously mistreats an animal and causes distress, beyond traditional practices like hunting or food preparation.
• Content where a human unnecessarily subjects an animal to poor conditions beyond traditional practices like hunting or food preparation.
• Content that glorifies or promotes serious neglect, mistreatment, or harm towards animals.
• Content depicting staged animal rescues that put the animal in harmful scenarios.

• Graphic content featuring animals intended to shock or disgust.

• We prohibit the use of dramatised or fictional footage that involves prohibited content without sufficient context to indicate its fictional nature.

• Violent physical sexual assaults (video, still imagery, or audio).
• Footage filmed by the perpetrator during a deadly or major violent event, showing weapons, violence, or injured victims.

Additionally, this policy extends to videos, video descriptions, thumbnails, comments, live streams, and all other Lounges features. External links in your content, including clickable URLs and verbal directions to other sites, are also subject to these policies.

Educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic content may be permitted to include certain violent or graphic elements, but this does not excuse content intended solely to shock or disgust or promote violent acts. For such content, the context must be evident within the video itself, not just in the title or description.

For content containing adult material or graphic violence within educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic contexts, we may consider official third-party industry ratings to determine whether the content can remain on Lounges. However, content that adheres to our policies but isn't suitable for all audiences will be age-restricted, limiting access to viewers under 18 years of age or signed out users.
