Can't see the email with your stream key to link your broadcast software to Lounges? Here is an easy alternative way to access this info.
When using broadcast mode to stream on Lounges, you should receive the stream URL and stream key via email 15 minutes before your event is due to start. If you can't find this email, don't panic there are other ways you can access the info. But first, check your junk and spam folders in case the email was misplaced.
I've checked all my email folders but still don't see the email
You can access your stream URL and stream key from your Lounges event page. To do so:
- Head into your livestream.
- Once in your livestream, you will be given the option to "Go live" or "Get Stream Keys" as shown below:
- Click "Get Stream Keys" and a pop-up will appear with all your stream information (Stream Key & Stream URL).
- You will be able to copy the URL and key in the pop up window. Please note these details are only released 15min prior to the event. This is too avoid launching the livestream before it is meant to go live as the stream key is only valid once. You won't be able to go live again using the same if you launch the stream and exit it.
You have now all the credentials needed to input on your broadcast software.
