Having technical difficulties during your livestream? Here is the most common reasons and how to remedy them
Connection
In most cases, when experiencing technical issues during a livestream, it is due to your internet connection.
Wireless case
Wireless connections can often cause issues, especially if there are multiple devices on one WiFi connection. If you are using WiFi, make sure:
- You are connected properly to your network and it is up and running
- Your internet speed is up to par. If you are using WiFi, for a good quality stream we recommend at least 8.5mbps for broadcast mode and between 4 and 8.5 mbps for stream mode (although the higher the better always!)
Wire case
For the strongest connection, we suggest using a wired connection (ethernet), which will speed up your internet.
Permission
If you are encountering difficulties streaming because of your audio or video, it could be because your browser doesn't have access to your mic and/or camera. please make sure you've given your browser all the permissions to be using Lounges or other external devices. Devices
You may be experiencing performance issues with your device. Some older or less powerful devices may not be capable of streaming the high quality content on Lounges. We recommend newer or more powerful devices to stream content on. If you're experimenting issues, try from an alternative device with processing power.
What do I do if i still have technical issues?
- Try restarting your camera, microphone, and computer or phone to see if that resolves the issue.
- Contact Lounges.tv support: if the problem persists, reach out to us for assistance via our Live chat or submit a support ticket on our help and support section here.
- Please note it's always a good idea to have a backup plan in case of technical difficulties. Consider having a second camera, or a spare device you can stream from. Remember, you can use Lounges from anywhere using just your phone!
Multiple people in 2 Way stream
If you are in a two-way stream and experience delays or bad connection this may be due to the volume of people you have in your stream. Having less or no people in a two-way stream can help your Lounge run smoothly.
Camera/Mic problems
Before you go live you have the option to set up and configure your camera and mic. To add a camera and mic or switch to a different camera or mic, just select 'Change input'.

Issues logging in
If you are struggling to login, select "Forgotten your password?" and follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.
If you signed up to Lounges using Google, Facebook, or Apple you can log in with those accounts by clicking on your selected service as shown below:
You will only be able to Log in with Facebook, google or apple if your account has been created through them.
