Lounges provides a broadcast software mode for creators to stream using external software like OBS or RTMP. This mode enables seamless streaming with features such as multiple camera angles and capturing sound from a mixing desk.

How to stream using a broadcast software OBS
Step 1: Install OBS
Go to https://obsproject.com/ and download OBS based on your operating system.
Install the software and launch it.
Step 2: Enable Studio Mode
In the bottom right corner, find the Controls panel.
Click on Studio Mode to split the screen into Preview Scene and Program Scene
Step 3: Add Video & Audio Capture Device
In the bottom panel, click the + symbol.
Select Video Capture Device choose your video recording device from the dropdown menu, and click OK
Add Audio Input:
Click the + symbol again.
Choose Audio Input Capture and select your audio input device from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Add Additional Scenes + Pre-roll video to your stream
In the Scenes panel on the bottom left, click the + symbol to add new scenes.
Name the scene and add it to your main livestream.
Add Media Source:
Go to the Sources panel and click the + symbol.
Select Media Source and choose the media you want to add from your device.
Step 5: Enable Transitioning During Livestream
Control when additional media appears during the stream by clicking the Transition button in the middle of the two screens.
Step 6: Start the Stream
Obtain the stream key details from Lounges.tv which you should receive by email 15 minutes before your stream is set to go live
Once you've entered your stream make sure you click "Get Stream Keys"
By clicking "Get Stream Keys" A pop up with your Stream URL and Stream Key will pop up as shown below:
Head into OBS and click on Settings.
Select the Stream tab, choose Custom from the dropdown menu, and input your Lounges credentials (Stream URL and Stream Key).
Step 7: Start Your Livestream
Click on Start Streaming and Start Recording buttons in the Controls panel.
Your livestream feed should now be visible on the Lounges.tv platform.
You're Ready to Livestream
Your livestream is now active and running via OBS!
